lunar wrasse/reef safe

My lunar wrasse just discovered that my lps corals are tasty to him.I've had him for over a year with no prob's,but just recently he ate my 6"squamose and my crocea, and now he's moving on to my wellsophyllia brain.I removed the brain coral because it was easier than catching him,but how can I go about catching this wrasse and removing him?my tank is full of rock...any suggestions?
Thanx all!!

No suggestions other than removing the fish. I know that may be a bit tough (as they are incredible fish), but at this point, I doubt it will change its habits. BTW, corals are not usually part of the menu of Thalassoma lunare, but as you can see, diets will vary between individuals. Mollusks, like your clams, are an entirely different story, being a usual food item for these fish. There are numerous plans for fish traps out there--so you can attempt that. They are wily fish and can slip into small spaces, making it more difficult. You can also try feeding it and then swiping it with a net. If none of those work, you may have to break the tank down to remove it.

Well, upon further investigation,I don't know if he was actually eating the brain,or just scavenging through it for food particles.Non the less,he still needed to be removed,he was getting very aggressive at feeding time.
