Does anyone have a tank set up for a Lysiosquillina glabriuscula that they can show me? A member from another web group has asked me about tank set up for this species but ive never kept one so Im not sure about the sand bed and its burro...just lookin to see tank set ups.

Thanks

Thats what im thinkin...perhaps i should have put L. Maculata instead of L. Glabriuscula as the subject since i know a few folks here have the L. Mac's

I don't have any decent pics of my tank yet, still going through a slight algae film issue going on due to some direct sunlight that was creeping through my shades which I've corrected.

But currenty my LM is about 3" long and I have him in a 10gal tank. I have about 18lbs of live rock situated along the back wall from one end to the other to maximize sandbed space. I have calurpa in the tank along the rockwork and I have a small power filter with surface skimming capability and a 90gph powerhead throttled down on the opposing side of the tank. The recommended sandbed depth is 1 1/2 the length of the spearer. My sand bed is 6" deep and I use a combination of crushed live sand and fine white sand (aka low silicate sandbox sand from Lowes.) I also have a heater, glass top, and a T5 light bar.
