m80 ballasts?

hello i am wanting to know if all m80 ballasts were the same as far as efficiency? or say would x brand be more efficent then y brand. thoughts?

there isn't much research done on the standard industrial ballasts.
ive always used advance ballasts with a lot of success.

Unless you can find used you won't have much luck sourcing a Advance M80, they are discontinued.
