2 blue plus1 purple, & 1 actinic on the 10k. I get but....
I already went through a lot of trouble Irving the fixture, now I have to.change a lot of bulbs, is there anything else? I'd rather do it now.

NO...Its cool man. I don't want you to go through a bunch of hassle. i really appreciate you posting the pics that you did. I was thinking you had the pictures of those combos already....meaning i didn'r realize you changed a bunch of bulbs to take them. Please don't bother with anymore. you have been a trooper as it is. Please don't bother, I would feel horrible if something happened to your light while messing around w it for me...Thanks again. I owe you one.

I already moved the fixture & have the above T5 combo & about to take a pic with it & the 10k.
I'll switch to the Phoenix in a few minutes. I'm glad your here, its not a big deal since you are here. (I just dint want to do this for nothing) Let me know now if you want any other combos.

Sweet, thanks! I know its a bit of a PITA. You your absolutely not doing it for nothing....I Havent messed around with too many bulbs so your saving me a ton of money and headache...The pics you mentioned will be perfect thank you.

Hey I'm really glad to help, its nice your following, I've wondered about using the Phoenix on this fixture.
I already have the first t5 & 10k, I'm taking pics of the T5 & Phoenix now, as soon as it warms up.

I can tell you that T5 combo looks exactly like the the 14k Phoenix.
I also noticed the Phoenix didnt fire the first time, but its something I will try over & over again. I have the bulb correct. It really doesn't surprise me with this ballast.
Ill post all pics but I wouldn't use the Phoenix in this fixture.

Ok...its cool...Ive kinda narrowed it down to reeflux and xm...10k or 12k along w the supplimental i mentioned..I ran the phoenix on my 250 standalone but with the ballast situation and the color of phoenix alone i think its a bad idea...

I'm going to move all the bulbs back & go to bed, hope it gave you a glimpse of what the outer orbit can do with the bulbs.

should have said narrowed phoenix out..the phoenix was already in question with the sunpark ballast, and u just proved its unreliable. Im very curious to see the t5 combo....along with the xm 10k. I''ve only used the 15k.

Hey thanks Mike! Looks like i still have some things to think about. The 10k w supplimental still looks very white, and the phoenix looks very blue. lol Thanks a ton for your help tonight. I think Im still on the same page w you...I like the 3rd pic you posted originaly the best. You have been a great help. Please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if there is anything u would like an opinion on. I certainly owe you one! :thumbsup:

My fave is the 15k XM & 2 current 420 & 2 current 460 t5. Its a sad T5 combo and sad halide bulb but together they look awesome IMO. Haha
this is hard to beat.

This isn't my normal kinda recommendation but the 15k XM with currentT5 bulbs is a great combo on the 150w outer orbit fixture.

Yeap thats the one! Like you said though, crappy bulbs. If we could only find the right combination of a higher quality bulb to replicate that color!!!!ugh. Thanks again for all your time and help Mike...couldn't ask for anymore from a fellow Reefer!
