Anyone ever seen the big Bubble King 650 Skimmer (dont touch, 6500)?

DSC03467.jpg

Here is that zero edge tank. These were very popular at the show, lots of vendors used them

Here is one of the deltec booth, sorry for the blur. Was being rushed around alot

This is that monster skimmer that deltec makes, the self cleaning option is a 1250.00 dollar option, but at the show, you got it for free. What's another 1200, when this thing runs 6000. Geeze it was big though

PFO booth, now the two tanks pictured here. One has a standard 250 halide (xm 20k i beleive) and the other is the 24 inch Solaris. Both have Quamtum meters on them. You decide which is which. Hint, the Solaris is almost twice the halide

I had a great time, and look forward to going next year in Pittsburg, PA. I was aked to show pictures when i returned, so here you are

I brought pictures, come on man. Just kidding, There wasnt a whole lot besides t-shirts, but ended up leavin before i remembered. I wish i couldve stayed for sundays raffle, they gave away lots of stuff.

Cool to see you picture Extreme Corals - they are located about a mile from my apartment in Irving, Texas. It is on site with a store that I really like down here called Saltwater Paradise.

Anyhow, they have a freaking incredible setup. They have this 40 ft long x 4 ft wide x 3 ft deep fiberglass tank with many of their corals in it that has a amazing surge device setup on it. On on end, water exits the tank and gets pumped by one of the Sequence pumps. From there it is pumped into some variety of rubbermade like tub at the other end, above the tank. In that tub, there are about 4 toilet floater type devices.

And the amazing thing - it fills and dumps abour once a second, creating this rolling wave down the length of the tub. Freaking amazing... :)

By the way, current is not far behind pfo on the LED lighting. They had an outer orbit LED with them. Its a prototype, and they would not let me photgraph it. But it will be nice for some stiff competition. Mayber prices will become competitive

well, xtreme had the biggest sump i have ever seen there. It was probably close to 250-300 gallons by itself. I was a trigger systems, and looked excatly like one you would use on a smaller tank. Just upscaled quite a bit.

Come by our facility and I'll show you a 1000 gallon sump. :)

What an awesome show. Thanks to everyone who stopped by. It was great meeting so many new people!
