Hi everyone,

Just off the phone from Todd of Cherry Corals who is hosting the ProfiLux at Macna this year for us kindly in my absence.

I can report back that Friday has been a awsome day, Todds stand has been one of the busiest and many people keen to see the ProfiLux in action, and Todd reports we should be seeing plenty new users after the show.

New dealers are also being introduced to the brand and we should have some great new dealers on board also for the upcoming season.

Claude from Fauna Marin will be helping out on the stand tomorrow and can answer all your questions in regards to the ProfiLux tie up with fauna Marin products such as the GHL dosing stations and fauna Marin balling method.

I can also report that we have been approached by various other companies wanting to have thier equipment paired with profiLux so you never know what that might bring

More tomorrow and there will be photos by Monday.

I highly recomend you guys ask Sfiligoi if they would pair up their sexy new LED fixtures to be controlled by Profilux. This is not meant as anything against AI but rather as another option for someone wanting a really visually appealing sleek fixture. Other sexy T5 or T5/MH fixtures like the PowerModul with dimmable 110v ballasts linked to Profilux would also be most welcome.

Another good thing would be to get a kalk-reactor type stirrer to go with the dosing pumps so you could automatically dose substances that should be stirred first like FMs UltraLife or KZs CoralSnow. Supposedly Aquatronica is already working on just such devices.

Of course, making the Profilux more expandable in L ports and expansion cards should be a priority too!

We already have it

You can do this in programmable logic, you just need to assign the stirring pump to react at the same time as the dosing pump

It would be great if one of those is Ecotech. With the drivers wireless, seems like it should be possible to make a master driver that interfaces via a 1-10v line, which can send wireless signals to the pump drivers which would be set as slaves.

I have a Tunze too (which is controlled via the Profilux) but prefer the Vortech for several reasons, particularly absence of wires in the tank and less visually obtrusive. Battery backup for the Vortech is very nice also.
