very impressive!! Nice job the tank looks awesome.
That acro is going to be sick once its colored back up.
How are you measuring phosphorous?
The conversion is something like (phosphorous x 3.066)/1000. Is that what you did or just divide by 1000? I think the result should be closer to 0.055 with a reading of 18 on the ppb Hanna checker. The ppb checker is supposed to be more accurate than the phosphate checker. 0.055 is still pretty darn good if you ask me. I am afraid to check mine.![]()
Every so often I like to do a full scale test just to see where everything's at. Here are the results:
Salinity: 1.025
Temp: 80
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 1
Phosphate: .02
Phosphorous: .018
pH: 8.23
Calcium: 434
Alkalinity: 168/9.4
Mag: 1360
Iron: 0
Potassium: 404
Iodine: .03
Strontium: 0
Started dosing 20mL Strontium/month and increased iodine dosage to 2 drops/month.
Tank looks great man!
Get your iron to about .15 if you want to improve greens. Iodine at .06 for pinks. Potassium is good. These are the "safe" numbers.
By the way, I see the Bloodshots are doing well. ;-)
Thanks. I think I have 5 or 6 bloodshots now. How are the magicians and hornets?
