macro lens choices for nikon

Its definitely a beginner lens, I don't know about a good beginner lens. If you catch the fine print, it was touting that the sharpness is equivalent to mid-range zooms (ouch). It needs another lens stuck on the front to actually become a macro lens in the first place, which further blurs the image, and if you squeeze it too hard just might shatter in your hands. Ouch.

Hello every one, Im new to RC and well everything here. I'm amateur photographer, still I would strongly recommend the 105mm vr f/2.8. but if you mount it on anthing lower than a D200 the noise would bug you unless you use Lightspeed/CLS. the Sigma a nice lens but it will flare at you if you get to close to your lights and it not true micro(macro). The nikkor 60mm is also nice, and if your on DX Nikon magnifies any lens </= 1.2.

Huh?

Ops maybe I shouldn't post using my phone. I mean to say if you dont have any nikon flashes, and say you bump up the ISO your going to get a lot of noise. So far the D200 and up have better ISO quality. So anything in the consumer DSLR D80 and under going to need some PS.
