MACRO LENS for D50

Does any one in the city or near the city have a good macro lens for a nikon D50? I would like to try one before dropping over 300 on just a lens. Thanks

Try a Nikon Micro or Sigma Macro 105mm.

Maybe you can take your camera to a camera shop and see if they will let you try out a lens. Epperson or someone similar might allow you to do that.

Keep me/us in the loop on your decision and results from your (someday) macro lens. I have a D50 and would love to get a good macro lens someday for, of course, taking reef shots...

Anyhow, I will do some serious research on Tuesday and post the results.

yea, I know. We PM'ed about them. I am debating on getting one for the close up's. I really need a good sports lens first. If you have a nice 70-200 VR I would take it off your hands so you could get a macro.
