Let me just say WOW.
Is that just actinics and how did you get such a close up? I try to take macros of my purple tube and I can not get anything near as nice looking or close up as that.

250w 10k mh and 95w vho actinics. just played with the settings on the camera. it only takes decent shots in manual mode. i think i had the settings on iso 200, fr 1/30, macro focus manually adjusted until it was clear. really it was pure luck. its hard to get shots like that with a bow front. its under a ledge so mostly actinics shine thru

With that type of lighting, does the anemone come out much with the lights on? I ask this because I plan to upgrade the lights on my tube anemone tank soon so i can add some other inhabitants but I was affraid with the added lights it may start hiding.

250w 10k mh and 95w vho actinics.. its under a rock ledge now and stays in the shadows. I'm upgrading my lights tonight to 400w dual mh's
