Macroalgae & LED

Hi,
does anyone have any experiences using LED for macroalgae? I have Cree cool white, blue and royal blue and caulerpa is growning fast, but botryocladia, halymenia and rhodymenia don't grow

The last three macros you listed are normally in deeper water and somewhat slow growers, especially compared to a fast growing Caulerpa. The deeper water macros utilize more of the blue spectrum. You should be fine with the LED spectrum that you mentioned.

I use 3 watt 6000k-6500k for mine. the cfl spot lights worked too, but not as bright as leds.
