Your set up sounds much like mine. I think you are ready to go. A lot of people, myself included, run their 'fuge light on a reverse daylight cycle from the main tank. It prevents Ph drop at night, and also helps to keep any caulerpas from going sexual and taking over your tank. Mine has been running for a year and is now full of amphipods, feather dusters, copepods, and tiny mysis shrimp. Almost as much fun to watch as the display tank and so beneficial. Good luck.
