Macropharyngodon meleagris cant get him to eat

I have 2 leopard wrasses...well tomorrow it will be a week and only one has come out...but the one that has been out has been eating live brine soaked in vitachem like crazy. I've been mixing in some froozen mysis with it hoping it will switch to that soon, so who knows. I've been trying anything in my tank to keep my Venustus angel eating! Even blackworms and anything else alive I can find! Hopefully you have a lot of pods in your tank, I was told that they eat them aswell. So if you dont have a refugium, you might want to consider setting one up for the future. Sadly these guys dont do well in captivity...Good luck and keep us posted...

Also where do you buy fish in Rochester? I am from there and when I go home I love checking out new LFS's!

I have a meleagris, bipartitus, and geoffroyi leopard wrasse. They are eating pellets, frozen brine, mysis, and just about anything I put in the tank...even flake food. I would start them off with some frozen brine or mysis soaked in Zoe...that should kick start their feeding.

I've had mine a couple of months. He only eats frozen mysis and brine at this point.

Maybe some live brine would work.
