Hello everybody !

But general aspect is that it is a 143 gallons tank with a 60 gallons sump.
I have a situation. I bough some brine shrimps eggs (50 grams), when opening the bag I dropped it to the tank, which means all the eggs went to the display tank.
Now 48 hours later they hatched and I have a bunch of little guys swimming around, with a lot of debris in the tank with I suppose are the egg leftovers.
The ammonia is going up non stop, I already did a 25% water change, but making water changes in such a big tank is not something fast or easy. It also didnt make a significant change in the ammonia test...
The corals are open no sign of stress.
The fish seems to be fine, a little uncomfortable with the cloudiness in the water. Don't seem to be lethargic, no flashing, no gasping, nothing...
So the question is... is the ammonia test kit wrong? And its reacting to the bunch of living organism that are in the water? Is it really climbing up that fast?
