Mag 24 Question

Hi All,

Just got a Danner Mag24 for a return pump. It did not come with a slide on "foot" or foam pad that my Mag12 can with. I do see an area on the 24 that looks like a slide on would fit. Was something missing out of the box? Are these accessories I can by?

TIA

Thanks Sean for the suggestion. I was hoping for something a little more OEM. Do you know if a stand/foam is available for this size pump through Danner/Pondmaster? I did not see anything on their website.

My last tank had a Mag12 externally connected. Due to space limitations on the new tank cabinet, this one will run in the sump.

Then a simple pad will be the easiest, most cost effective, solution.

I don't know of any retailers who just sell an OEM part for that.
You can always contact the manufacturer directly.

I've called Danner and they sent me the anti-vibration pad for free. Also, as a fail safe, I placed a cut out of egg crate under as well, since my sump is made of glass. Best of luck.

noisy....noisy....noisy.... put a mouse pad or two under it & use flexible pipe to reduce the noise as much as possible. I hear my mag 24 (or is it a 36) 15ft away & it's submerged in a pond

mine also didn't come with any mounting stuff.......

Steve,

Looks like I will make the call. Thanks.

Viggen,

How much louder can it be than a Mag12? Had that as an external in a setup. I found it tolerable with padding. Thanks for the advice on flex tubing. I had planned on hard piping the whole thing.
