I have a Mag 9.5 plumbed to my 90 gallon. I would like to make a manifold for a BRS calcium and GFO reactor. Would I have enough flow circulation for the tank, sump and both reactors?
I have a 1" drain 3/4" return standard aga 90g overflow.
I have been reading around, I'm not sure if I want to cut back that much on flow by making a manifold off the 9.5.
Maybe I could add a smaller eheim pump in the return section and just make a manifold off that. Might be better than using two seperate maxijets for each reactor.
I'm using a 9.5 as primary return on my 75 AGA (plus I have it feeding a fuge) and I'm wanting a little more flow.... I would run a second pump, just my .02
Having been the purchaser of a mag 7,9,12, and 18... I'd recommend a bigger pump, especially with two reactors. It all also greatly depends on your plumbing design but I'd go with a mag12... Easier to throttle it back than wish for more power
