Home Depot in Copiague/Amityville just got a shipment of MAG flakes in. They're outside by the gardening stuff in the middle of the aisle if anyone is interested.

mike whats the dose rate for this stuff?

You gotta make a 2 part, like B-Ionic. There's a thread in the Chemistry forum I'll try to find for you.

Mike,
Don't mind my edit of your post above, you had put the tags in wrong, all I did was fix t...dited by DgenR8 on 11/19/2006 at 06:45 AM[/i]

I went back and checked out Jose's calculator that Mike linked, that thing is GREAT!!!!

I've used randys 2 part for a while now and it works great for me and is ridiculously cheap compared to the store bought 2 parts. And for what I spent on one bottle of Kent Magnesium, You can basically buy a lifetime supply by buying one bag of MAG flakes! Things cost enough in this hobby!!
The calculator is a great tool, its one of those things I wish I knew of when I first started!

Ray before you use it check out what else is in it....I'm not familiar with that package. I'm using the stuff from Dead Sea Works that Randy recommended.....yea I gotta post up some recent pics..the tank changed alot over two years after my battles with red bugs and dinos....

we just got a few pallets of that stuff at HD...I don't know whats in it, but it's brown...I wouldn't use it. I asked about the Dead Sea stuff they had previous years and was told that they got a better deal on this.
