Mag problem;-(. Please HELP!!!!!!!

So I got home today to my huge mag that decided to move for the first time ever! He was stuck in the gyre pretty good. My water is super cloudy and there is mag pieces everywhere. So I got as much as I could with a net then did a water change and put new carbon in my reactor. I'm currently making more water for another water change tomorrow My mag is tore up on one side but looks to be still living. This mag is the size of a large dinner plate and has been bullet proof! Should I just leave him alone and hope he gets better or should I get my QT tank up and running to move him there and treat with something! The only thing with the qt tank is I don't have another light that the mag could survive! I will try to get some pics of the mag. Any help would be great. Thx

I would move him to a qt if it was me . I wouldn't treat with any meds yet.

I agree with Antonio, sorry to hear about this and I hope your mag pulls through. Did you lose anything from this happening?

Nothing yet! But today he really looks pretty good considering what it's been through. I'm doing another water change today. I will post some pics in a bit!

I would do water changes and add carbon.Mine got into a vortech and nuked my whole tank,the only fish to survive was the clowns.The Mag made a complete recovery.Moveing would just cause more stress.

Thx for the advice! That's exactly what I'm doing. I didn't loose anything and I think the mag is going to make it also. I've decided to leave him in the system and I will just keep a eye on him!

Here is the mag today! He has totally recovered nicely. I really thought it was going to die for sure. I didn't do anything just water changes and left him alone;-) I'm super excited it made it. By far my show piece of my tank.

people put a accliamtion box like the one reef synergy had, or simply a plastic pot, and let the anemone stays in there to heal. like u see in the fist store. sorry to hear

Give him 2 weeks and you will not notice any injury. Feed him and he will grow those tentacles in short order.
