Mag9 question about impeller!

Strange!I removed my mag9 for cleaning and noticed shaft was in 3 pieces!

Pump was working great until I opened up today to clean. Can this run with a broken shaft? Where can I get one replacement shaft or impeller quickly locally in sePA or online?
Thanks!

I don't think they sell the ceramic shaft. You will need to get a new impeller assembly. It's not that expensive. Online or go to LFS.

You can also, fix it if you want to. I used "carbon fiber rod" in the past and seem to work just fine. Take the shaft to a hobby store and find the rod the the same diameter and cut it to the same length.

I don't recalled any issue using fiber carbon rod. Also, if you can't find any hobby store in your area. Check the $1 store or harbor freight for "kite", they used to make kite with fiber carbon rods (not sure if they have the right size, but worth to try when in a pinch). GL

Local hobby town U.S.A.has them...some solid, some cylindrical....Will check out tmrw thx
