Magnesium and Calcium

Strange one here - both my Mag and Calcium are showing above 1500 - they have done now for a few weeks even after water changes. Anyone got any advice?

You must be making some kind of mistake. I dont think your Calcium (Ca) could be over 500 without your tank looking like a milkshake. For Mg, 1500 is high but not a real problem.

You ought to post in the chemistry forum for more answers.

what kind of test kit are you using? What is your Alk?

Yes, something is very wrong here. That Ca level would be impossible. You are doing something wrong like using to large a sample or not reading the titration results properly if it is a drop count method.
