Magnesium chloride source

Where do people buy this in bulk these days besides BRS? I can't find dow flake down here in the south, and not even sure if it should be used any more. Found a few places on ebay that are cheap though

Does everyone get it from BRS?

I bought Mag Flake in bulk a long time ago, but the BRS products are fine. I'm not sure you're going to find deicing chemicals locally in most parts of Florida. I think Buckeye Hydro and a few other places sell bulk chemicals, as well, though.

Definitely will. The ebay link I posted that sells it in the aquarium section has the sds listed in the add but the link doesn't work. I'm going to email them and see if they respond. They sell it for as little as $1.60 per pound which is very intriguing.

Anyone see any issues based on the SDS or is there not enough info since it says 90-100% purity?

Anyone know what the purity of the BRS stuff is?

There's not enough information in the MSDS to be sure about safety.
