My tank used to have a ph of 8.3 to 8.4 day/night. Ever since I started raising my Mg to 1500 so that I could get rid of some briopsis my PH has been lowering. Now it goes to 7.9 at night and 8.1 during the day. My alk is 11 dkh and my calcium is 420. phosphates, nitrates are at 0. I have a 30 gallon fuge that run a light 24/7. I'm wandering if magnesium will effect PH.
