Magnet Holder Extensions

I just got my extensions (6080.23) for the magnet holders from Premium Aquatics. What a difference! I had to move my magnet holders to the sides of my tank with the old holders in order to get flow in the area I wanted it. The extensions have allowed me to move the magnets on to the back of the tank again and still aim the streams to the front center of tank. Great Modification to the part. I just wish they would have come with the streams when I bought them a couple of months ago. I highly recommend it to anyone that has the mag. holders.

No, sorry they are already installed. They are identical to the old ones but they stand off a little further (about an additional 1/2 inch. It made a big difference for me as far as the angle which I can point them

It might be what i need as well as i too am running a 120 and have the heads in the back.

Yeah I was unable to angle to point the streams with enough of an angle to avoid a "snow storm" of sand. The new hangers have allowed me to angle them a little further around giving much better coverage and less blowing of the sand.

I forgot to ask what the old style looks like so i know if my brackets are the new or the old style.

The obvious way is the color, old ones are brown, new ones are black.

I guess i already have the extenders then cause both are black! Correct?

They will have a triangular wedge between the plate and the post, the brown ones have the post glued directly to the plate. The brown color is very dark but to my knowledge black ones of the old style were never made.
