First thanks for your advice on the 6000 vs 6100 on my 72 gallon mixed reef, my wife got me the single controller, photocell and I want the magnet holder.
You did say it can swivel 45 degrees in each direction so I do want one.
Here is my question, there are two magnets, one that is for up to 12 mm and the other I believe for up to 17mm.
I called Oceanic systems which makes my 72 bowfront for the glass thickness, they told me it's 1/2 inch all over the tank.
When I equate that to mm would I be safe to just get the 12 mm or do I need the 17 mm.
