magnet mount for nano streams

Hi Roger,

I am thinking about getting one of the 6055 (or whichever is controllable) nano-streams. Will their magnets work on 3/4" acrylic? If not, can they be adapted to work with the magnet mounts we use for the 6100 streams?

Yes, the included magnet will work.

10-4, thanks roger. are the 6055's on backorder? checked marine depot (they don't have them in their catalog) and premium aquatics (they were out of stock).

Backordered would be an understatement. I hate to say it but if you are just ordering them you may qualify for a Guiness record in patience by the time you recieve them. We need over 800 pumps just to fill existing orders. The first 24 came in last week. Full scale production is just beginning this week.

I don't think it will take that long, when they focus on something and production rolls along with no hickups they could make that many in a couple weeks but the US is only 25% of the market so you can figure they need 4 times that many pumps. It just seems lately nothing goes our way.

You only got 24 in last week?WOW I must be the luckiest person in the US.I walked into my lfs and his tunze dealer had just brought 2(6055`s) in for him and I snagged them up.They are awsome.I love them.Sold my 6000`s to get them.I barely notice them in my tank now.I plan on buying 2 more when they are easily available.Have there been any issues with them yet?

No issues yet but we were far more thorough on testing these and caught most of our problems with the 6025 and 6045. I don't think there will be any problems.

Yes my 6055 has been under a lot of stress and abuse without any sign of problems so far

I have had my 6055's, which are the controllable one's for 5 days now and they have worked flawlessly. I really like them and probably will buy 1 more for my 90.
