magnet question Roger

Hey I have a steel stand and an easy way to "mount" stuff to the stand is magnets. Would there be any issues gluing a magnet to the back of the osmolator control box or the stream multicontroller? Will the magnet mess with the functionality?

Unfortunately that won't work, the osmolator has two completely independent circuits and the float switch circuit is old school with a relay should the fancy electronics fail, the magnets will actuate the relay and cause an alarm. It is a truly redundant system with two independent technologies. The multicontroller is iffy, I wouldn't recommend it because it utilizes an PROM that could be erased by strong magnet fields. It might work, but it is a risk.

Damn. Thought I had a nifty mounting solution. Cool. Thanks Roger for the prompt, knowledgable replies as always.
