would like to use on thicker glass. will they work on one inch..
is outpart submersible also.. would like to use so that other part is in the overflow.. thanks..

Both halves are identical and submersible. On 1" material they marginally work and I don't recommend it, basically they hold but if you put a sharp angle on it or look at it funny it may fall.

i can test them for you... will see if they fall when looking at distanceof 10 feet.. thanks for the info...

I have the larger magnets holding up 6000's on 1 inch acrylic and belive they are secure enough - been running this way for 6 mths or so

yes, and they still did not fall - I am careful but have bumped them a couple of times while cleaning without incident - I would not use on this 1 inch if the streams > 6000's

don't know which is more restrictive to magnet forces - glass or acrylic...

thanks ... but have you looked at them the wrong way...

i just ordered the large ones mysefl

That's basically it, it is at the limit of what the holder can do, so a 6100 with a sharp angle, nudged during cleaning, could come undone. A 6000, aimed dead ahead, will likely work just fine.
