Magnetic rock

Hello, does anyone know where I can find the man made rock with the magnets? They are used to go on the back wall of your aquarium.

Hey Tom,

I love that frag rack that I got. The holes are perfect for the ORA plugs and you barley notice them as compared to the eggcrate.

I tried out the new plugs we got at Salty. I ended up using some epoxy to mount the gorgonia I got. They are a little loose in that rack though.

Where did you and Steve Y order those racks from? I may replace some of my other eggcrate racks.

Those plugs we got from salty do not fit in my black eggcrate...

I ordered 2 of the magnetic rocks today for the back of my tank...

Hmm, did you try them in the white eggcrate?

Usually there is a tapered side on eggcrate, do they fit if you flip the eggcrate?

I do not have white eggcrate. I will try both sides of the black eggcrate.

Well you were right they do work in the black eggcrate after all. When they say "they lock" it is so true. They lock into the eggcrate and you have to really push them back out.

tom those are awesome. i have never seen those before. yurko and tom, could you post pics of them in your tank.

Tom, I just checked those plugs from Salty, they fit easily in the ewhite egg crate on either end.

I just got these today in the mail. THEY LOOK SO REAL and look good in the tank.

If you need "something" for your back wall, you should get one!

How strong are those magnets?

Are the rocks really light?

light rock and the magnets seem to be ok. Now I need some SPS frags from you to put on there....lol.

pictures will come. They look bare now because all of my other rocks have coraline on them. They should fit in within the next week or so.

im preety sure i seen a diy thread for these befor. they just used magnets coated in epoxy .then used that foam people use to make rock back dropes. i think they made 6 of them for 15 bucks.

no. I just took some epoxy and glue. You could drill it but I did not. Looks good in the tank though and adds depth.
