Magnets on my 6025

I bought a 6025 and I noticed these magnets. Is this what it's supposed to look like? No need for the coating anymore?

Yes, that is correct. The new magnet holders use ferrite magnets, they are ceramic, the same material most impellers are made from. Most reports of rust staining are because iron was attracted to the magnet, iron based phosphate removers can cause rust staining for this reason (they are basically rust).
