Magnifica and LEDs

I would eventually have it under T5s which is why I made a thread on that, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience keeping them under LEDs. I have two Ecoxotic Panorama fixtures over my 65 right now and was wondering if the nem would survive with those lights. I would most likely have to move all my acro sticks for the time being so it could have the highest perch, but I don't want to risk it if the light won't be strong enough for it.

I not familiar with a magnifica but my RBTA and acros are doing great under my DIY leds. My buddy also has the same setup and everything is doing well. My tank is a 36 bowfront with 36 leds and my buddy has a 55 with 48 leds. People say the leds are just as good as MH's. I believe you'll be fine with your panorama(They are nice BTW)

The two fixtures wouldn't be? There's four strips in each fixture.

My guess is that mags would be fine in that setup. I have no personal experience with a mag under LEDs; however, I've seen threads on here with giganteas doing well under LEDs and mags are certainly not more light demanding than giganteas. In fact, mags live down to 60 feet under the surface, from my understanding, gigs are always found in very shallow water.

I have a mag under LED's but I use the TMC tiles. I don't know how these compare to your Ecoxotic Panorama fixtures but the mag is halfway down a 26" deep tank and it appears as happy/healthy as it was under a 250 watt Giesemann halide.

We'll see how it turns out then. It should be here Friday. I got some rearranging to do in the 65. I think I'll move everything off the left side and hope it stays on that side.
