Magnificent and clarkiis

I have my eye on a magnificent at my Lfs that has been doing well in their system for over a month. If currently have a pair of black clarkiis in my tank that would be difficult to remove due to the rockwork. I did try a ritteri once and the clarkiis did nothing with it but the anemone did not make it. I want to try another mag but don't want to try it if the clowns won't take to it. Thoughts on if the clowns will take to the mag?

It's a natural host for them. Most clark's clowns will host a condy, so I think a mag would be a nice step up. It might not happen over night though.

As Winwood said, magnifica is a natural host for clarkii and would almost certainly be hosted by it--probably immediately would be my guess.

Here's a shot from RC member Elegance Coral. I hope he doesn't mind me using it to wet your whistle.:fun4:

Lol! You bet! I've seen them host them many times. Usually once they find them it's love at first wallow.
