maintaining live copepods

im thinking of buying some live copepods and putting some in my fuge and then feeding my tank with some

but can i keep some in a jar or something and kept them alive with just feeding and an airstone and no heater?

and would it be worth it to put some in my fuge since would they just escape out into my display or get shredded in my return pump? should i just keep them in a seperate container to culture them?

Best in your fuge.... keeps them safe from predation and lets them breed. Don't worry they can get past that pump.

just put them all in your fuge they will multiply quicker.

will they stay in the fuge long enough to multiply and not all go through the return?

if you have some chetto and some small live rock they will make it their home and live in there and multiply then some will flow with the water and make it to your tank it will be fine this is one of the big benifits of a fuge.
