Maintaining SG

In between water changes, on average, do you find that you need to adjust your SG up, down, or not at all? The changes in between would be due to water removed from skimming, and additions of two part solution and other additives.
I find mine stays pretty neutral, except when I need to add alot of Mg. That seems to raise the SG a bit, and requires me to remove saltwater and add freshwater

mine stays about the same but i also dont have a skimmer right now so the top off keeps it pretty constant. i hope when i do put a skimmer on that it doesnt fluctuate too much. only have a 22g tank with about 15-18g of water.

In my125, SG does drop off if I wait too long between water changes since I skim pretty wet with an ASM G-3. The 75 gallon on the other hand stays pretty constant. Adam makes a good point in that adding Mg or Ca does effect SG.

I find that mine drops off (as Bronx said - mostly when I wait a long time to do a WC). If that happens I just add about a cup or two and then adjust from there...amazing how stuff perks up when I do add some though.
