Maintenance on club website March 31, 2008

Maintenance will be performed on the Orlando Reef Caretakers Association website between 9:00 AM and noon on Monday, March 31, 2008.

We hope that these changes will result in better website performance.

Important note:
During this time the site will be up and down several times. Any posts made during the brief times that it may be available before the maintenance is completed may be lost.

Update:

The usual nothing goes right when the clock is ticking stuff. The database work that I tested last night has absolutely refused to work today. Go figure.

But, still making progress and hope to be back up by noon EST.

The website has been moved to the new host BUT you'll need to use the following URL since the domain name servers haven't caught up with the change yet.

I saw that the site was up, but that when trying to post it says "invalid session, please resubmit" it also says the same when using the PM system

I'm sorry about the problem,

Invalid sessions has to do with the coordination of an internal identifier and a cookie. Please delete your cookies and try again. Please post if you have any further problems.

I deleted my cache, cookies, history and authenticated sessions... Logged back in and still having the invalid session problem.

The invalid session error indicates that the mechanism that phpbb uses to prevent people from hijacking your session is messed up. I've changed a setting in the forum software that MAY help.

It sounds like you've been able to login and I can see that you're browsing under your login in the forum.

If you're still having the problem click on the "Log out" link at the top of the page and clear your cookies once more. Then log back in. (Logging out before you clear the cookies)

If that doesn't work try loggin in with a different computer or browser and let me know if that helps.

Please post if the problem has been cleared up and exactly what you were doing if you still have the problem. Hang in there we'll get it worked out.
