Majano or Aptasia?? With Pics

Hi All-


I added my first Zoa, a nice 3 polyp Purple Death I got from my LFS about 10 days ago. Since then, two more heads have sprung up, along with something I'm not sure about:



Zoomed in, tough to see:



Does that look like a pest anemone? The new heads are part of the "crust" but this guy looks like he's just on the plug. Any ideas? Is a prophylactic ReVive dip warranted?

As always, any help always appreciated! Sorry for the tough pics, that was even with the big camera.

How long until one becomes alot?

It could be a day a few days but I wouldnt wait till it get big enough to spread.

Well, I pulled the frag, pulled the aptasia, and made a mess supergluing over the bases of the anemones:



I built a quick acrylic shelf, if I missed any, is it possible for aptasia to jump from this shelf?

Aptasia can spread with water flow but if you removed them and glued the base of the aptasia, I would leave it on the shelve for a few days and see if it worked. I also recommend getting some peppermint shrimp since the can kill aptasia. They are a hit or miss though.

Will the Zoa crust over the superglue? I made a damn mess of the poor frag. I hope it pulls through. First, second, and third time I've been nipped by my clown. Water everywhere. Very frustrating.
