majanos

quick question.
I am starting to have a majano epidemic in my 150 reef. I have used joes juice and it killed most of them, but it also killed all of my red sea zenias. they are just starting to come back and so are the majanos. is there any other fish that might eat them? Kalk just seems to spread them all over even faster. I was told that maybe some type of angle (asfur angle) eats them. Is this true? and what fish is it.

Kathy

How are you applying joes juice?
If you gently brush away the liquid when it gets on your corals it won't kill them.

FWIW pure lemon juice, and liquid calcium I hear, also work. Certain butterfly fish might eat them but it's a hit or miss with the "reef safe" ones.

When it is to that point, I say screw it. Buy yourself a racoon butterfly fish and tell him to go to town.

This is what I read also.
