Majestic angel and reef

I would like to add a majestic angel to a tank with LPS and anemones. What can I expect him to pick on or what will he likely leave alone. Anyone kept one with corals?

Are you going to go with an adult or a juvenile or adult? You may have better luck introducing a juvenile in attempts to avoid him from picking at coral. angels generallly don't touch the more noxious LPS (Torch, hammer, frogspawn, shrooms). With SPS angels are always hit or miss.

It is an adult coloration but not very large about 3 inches. right now I have a colt coral, frogspawn, bubble, pulsing zenia, trach brain, rock anem., and long tent. anem. with oc. clown. I suspect the clown will protect his anem. and if he only bothers one I could just remove it. If he is going to bother everything I will have to remove him. Was just wondering what others experiences were.

It wil most likely eat your frogspawn, and brain, it will pick on the colt, bubble, xenia...Will probally but not gauranteeing it will leve hte anenomes alone. As long as the Clown host in the anenome it will probally be safe..,
Mine does not bother any leathers or shrooms, but does like to pick at all other corals and clams...JMHO

Mine sounds about the same as yours...fairly small still, but adult coloration. He doesn't really pick on anything. I've seen him picking at areas where there are some zoanthids and button polyps, but I think he's just grabbing stuff that's settled in there, since they all still look fine.

As far as being shy, he runs and hides whenever I approach the tank, but if I just stand there he will come back out and swim around, and he's plenty assertive with the other fish in the tank. So far so good in my case, let's just hope that continues as he gets older and bigger.

yeah they actually become a little less skiddish as they mature, so if he's doing good now, that's definitely cool
