Major or minor problem?

Hey guys

So I was adding the substrate to my tank today. I bought 3 bags of Red Sea live sand, well I thought I did. The first bag was, but the 2 in the box were not. I added the sand to my tank without rinsing the non live stuff. Rookie mistake. And started to add water. As soon as I started adding water I realised.
So my water is really cloudy and dusty now.
Is this a big issue? And what the best way to get rid of it now while I'm cycling?

Thanks

Get some Carib sea BIO MAGENT. it Causes the small dust particals to bind together and drop to the bottom. I HAVE used it in the past with no ill effect..

HOB filter with tightly packed filter floss might work if you don't have the ability to use a filter sock.

It will dissipate over time. Like mentioned above some kind of filter floss will aid in the particulate removal. What was wrong with the other two bags in the box? Was their a leak in the bags causing the once live sand to become dry?

It is just hiccup, nothing to really worry about. The option the others mentioned are all good options. Good luck

Time is your friend.
Filters and floss can help, but the best thing is to wait it out.... unless you want to remove it all and start over.
