Making a switch from Ushio 14k to Phoenix14k?

I am going to switch bulbs on my Elos Planet II light. Its a 90 gallon tank. SPS dominant. I run my Ushio's for 6 hours and 4 t-5 39w for 12 hours. My question is should i keep my lighting cycle the same with the switch or should i go more or less? Can i bump it up to 8 hrs?

I would cut it back about three hours....and then just go up an hour every three to four days.

I'm confused because some people tell me to cut back others say its ok to go to 8.

I think Toadally is just saying to cut it back for a little while to allow the coral to get used to the new bulbs. I think you are asking about switching photoperiod longterm?
