making clowns host anemone

Did I say u got the clowns from Appalachian trails? Then it's simple all you need to do is put a casino inside your anemone and bam instant hosting lmao sorry couldn't help it. Happens naturally my man good luck

I laughed so hard reading this
Clowns are fancy clowns I think long tip nem

I just let mine find it on there own. Fist they hosted the sand, then a rock, and finally they found the anemone. Unfortunatly they picked the Condy nem and not my beautiful RBTA. Silly clowns. It took about a month total.

Mine are tand bread false percs so it took a bit longer for them to figure it out.

Interesting idea showing them a video. I'll have to try that next time :)

They only been in the tank a week together lol im drunk happy new year

Lmao, did I serve u tonite too?? Lol...sounds like the proper new year ;)

Good luck with your clowns, you probably won't find a solid answer other than time and giving them a chance to adapt... If they are wild caught, they have been through a lot regardless... Patience, and see what happens...

Let me know if anything works for you Joe. I have been trying to get my snowflakes to host the rbta I picked up from erbgo at the last meeting with no luck. This is the frustrating part of getting tank bred clowns.

My clowns just spent 30 minutes watching a video. They haven't gone near the anemone yet, but it was fascinating to see that they appeared to be genuinely interested in the video. I used this one:

Years back I was do frustrated that my clowns wouldn't host in my bubble tip, I went out and bought a small clarkii (smaller than my occis). I had read that they are quick to host in a wide variety of nems. It dove right in. In very short order, the occis evicted him and took up residence. For a long time they lived at opposite ends if the tank, but the clarkii grew very fast and when they started bickering frequently, it went to my lfs. Was very easy to catch considering how tight he was with his nem
