making room on EB8

I have quickly filled the outlets on my EB8 and I'm trying to figure out away to remove a few things may not really need to be plugged into it. I have the 110v power from my dimmable meanwells plugged to the EB8. The 0-10v is hooked up to the v1 and v2 ports.

Do the 110v from the meanwells really need to plug into the EB8? Will it be safe for the meanwells to plug directly into the wall and have power supplied 24/7, even while the apex has the 0-10v ports off?


Same question for Tunze pumps? Does the 110v need to plug into the EB8?

I don't believe any of those devices need to be on the EB8. I offloaded items such as those (i.e. Vortechs being controlled by the WXM) to another UPS powered powerstrip. I also consolidated similar items usually on/off controlled together (i.e. skimmer and GAC/GFO reactor...) into a single outlet using a 2:1 pigtail.

You do lose the ability to monitor electrical usage for offloaded items.
