Making Waves

Does anyone have experience with OM and Red Sea Wave Master Pro?
Which do you recommend?
Thanks in advance

I can tell you that they are quite different from each other. The OM is a motorized diverter valve, and the Red Sea is a switching device. It all depends on what you want in the tank, or have on hand to use.

Personally, I like the OM.

Om all the way. Once you handle the plumbing they are perfect for a closed loop operation. Very happy with mine.

Right now I'm in the process of upgrading to a 300. So I can go either way.

If I go OM I would have to buy a pump to go with it.

If I go wave master then I have to buy the pumps & the wave master.
I would need 3 or 4 pumps depending on my design for water circulation and what I can get passed my wife.

I plan on buying "everything" on Ebay except for the OM.

If your still in the planning stage, I would definitely go with the OM. One pump is way cheaper in the long run than 3 or 4 pumps.
