I've had a male lyretail for about 8 months and is the only anthia in the tank. He was obviously a male with a large dosal streamer, red blotches on side fins and very red in color. Over the last couple of months his streamer is barely showing and his color is more orange like the typical females are. I am planning on getting a couple of ladies for him and I'm a little worried about the introduction of them. I've read that only females can switch and not the other way around,once a male always a male.
