Male or Female Mandarin

any opinions on this mandarin ?
I want to get another one so I need to know... is it Male or Female?

I say male, long pointed dorsal

100% male, the females dont have a large sail like that.
most lfs carry male mandarin, they have much brighter colors.

yup, you have a male.....might be tough to sustain two mandarins in a 55 gal though.

beautiful mandarin you have there. females can be a lil more difficult to find.

Thanks for all the replys, I thought it was a male, but just wanted to make sure. I will be upgrading to a 120 in a few months and wanted to get a female and introduce both of them into the new tank at the same time.

that would work good. just make sure you have a good place for the pods and such to keep breeding. when we set up the 210 and it's up for a while i'll be getting a mandarin......always wanted one.
