mandarin and hyposalinity

I have an outbreak of ick in my tank. I will be putting all of the fish into a QT tank and using the hyposalinity treatment. Can a mandarin survive hyposalinity? Also my mandarin does not take prepaired foods. How should I go about feeding him? Thanks

I'm having the same problem right now. the mandrin should be fine with hypo. From what I found out the only option is to buy live pods online but I also heard that they might eat fish roe so I'm going to the store to see if I can pick up some unseasoned unsalted caviar. I hope it works

Good to know that the mandarin will survive. I thought that live pods would die from the lowered salinity?
