Hi all

I finally got a Mandarin.Tank has been set up for about a year and the sump is full of life. I think I will have to set a pod hatchery... Like I said the sump/refuge is teaming with life ,but it look like much makes its way to the display tank.

2 Questions: 1 Any good sites on raising pods etc for food..

2 Other than netting pods etc , how can I get them up to the main tank better?

Thanks Rob

Do you have a magnifying glass to look at these pods?

Ummmmm no. what kind of question is that ...JA

I heard a guy used a "natural sponge" to move pods. Basically in his sump he placed 1-2 "natural sponges" and then the pods would go in them for refuge and breeding. Then every so often he would move the sponge to the display tank. The pods would leave the sponge to be mandarin food. If you keep a rotating supply of lets say 3 sponges it would move lots of pods easily.

Just a suggestion... btw I am also planning on having a mandarin tank, but I am hoping to start it up sooner rather than later...
