I just pity bought a green mandarin goby bc he was in a tank that a few angels where picking on him pretty bad so i successfully got him home acclimated him and now he just sits in the corner of my tank and sits there........how do i get him to eat and i have a red scooter blenny that has eaten alot of my pods. Before the blenny they used to be everywhere do you think there will be enought for the mandrain?

is there physical damage to the mandarin? they typically hunt constantly throughout the day so one that is stationary is alarming. as for pods, do you have a fuge? ample liverock?

I don't have a fuge just yet but my tank had alot of tightly stacked live rock and there is a pod population its just not what it was before i got my blenny. Like are they all day/night eaters or will a few pods here and there hold them over (untill hopefully i can switch him to frozen ) As for damage i haven't seen any but then again I've only seen them for a few moments at a time through out the years of going to lfs. I did notice a clear/whiteish discharge of some kind in his bag when i was aclimating i don't believe it was poo. should i feed some mysis or cyclopyeze with the lights down to see if he eats?

I wouldn't count on him switching to frozen foods. It is very rare that they do. Pods are their natural food and what they really need to thrive.

well we have had a complete turnaround with the mandarin he was one of only 3 fish that survived my tank crashing ( I still don't know why ) and i relocated him to my friends sump and he is cruising around eating pods I'm guessing it was bc my tank was on the verge or collapse so he wasn't felling well
