Mandarin goby

Ok so I bought a mandarin that eats brine. I feed him twice a day 1/4 cube but of course my other fish still go for it. Can we be healthy and completely survive on brine? And am I feeding him enough? Ps I have a 75 gallon withaybr over 85 lbs of live rock and I've had it up for maybe 3 months:)

No. Brine will not sustain him. It's like popcorn.

At a minimum, I would try to switch him to mysis. Do you have a refugium? What else is in the tank?

+1. Mysis and/or pods. I seeded my tank with 2,000 pods 3 months before purchasing my dragonnette. They pretty much hunt and eat as long as they are awake. The only time they aren't hunting for food is when they are sleeping. Probably best to do your best to have a self-sustaining food supply for it (especially if it has to compete with other fish for food)...

I believe there is a primer on this forum about them. Long read, but good information in there...

Best of luck!!!
