Mandarin Goby

I have a mandarin in my 24 gallon tank....i have 30 pounds of live rock.....it seems happy and is eatin pods mysis,brine ( both garliqued) and some pellets....i am starting a fuge for it and was thinkin puttin a mantis shrimp (G.Smithii) in there ....ive heard that they wont eat pods unless they are 1/2",,,or that the mantis is small...what should i do??

POse that one in the mantis forum. I've no idea what mantids eat.

Your mandarin will need that fuge, for certain. It's amazing how fast one mandarin can take down all the pods in a 52gallon. If you can get him to eat pellets, to the good, for sure.
