hey,

i was wondering if a mandarin would do well in my tank.

i have a 75g mixed reef...no corals as of yet...the tank is only 2 months old.

i only have a pair of tru percs that i added today.

i have a 29g sump/fuge. the refugium works great! whent the light goes off, theres are hundreds of pods.

would it be ok to add one in about a week?

i have a 55g but there arent enough pods in there for him/her.

so would it work in my 75g?

2 months is way, way too short a time to add a mandarin. Wait at least 6 months and make sure that the pod population stays high.

If you have plenty of live rock and are producing a good pod population. A 75 is fine. I have one in a 75 with a 75 gal refug and he stays fat and healthy.

But 2 months is just too soon give it awhile.
